Microneedling creates thousands of micro skin punctures to the skin to promote our bodies natural healing process.
First, white blood cells clean out bacteria. Then red blood cells are drawn to the area to create collagen. This new tissue development is called Type III collagen. Type 3 collagen is for wound healing. Collagen forms the foundation for new tissue. The micro channels start to fill with new tissue, the edges of the wound pull towards each other until the tiny puncture closes, closing the wound and tightening the new skin.
