Amirah is a UBC Kinesiology graduate with a focused interest in functional movement, somatic integration, and nervous system regulation. She views the body not as a set of symptoms to manage or metrics to optimize, but as a living system with the innate intelligence to adapt, reset, and heal.

Amirah is particularly interested in the connection between core stabilization, movement patterns, and chronic stress and how consistent, intentional movement can support nervous system regulation and long-term resilience.

Brandon is a graduate from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. His passion for active health and rehabilitation stemmed from years of experience working in the health and fitness industry. Brandon currently plays recreational soccer for two different leagues and has a special interest in sports rehab and recovery. He is an avid learner and a very amiable person who values self-improvement and building meaningful connections.

Cara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at the University of the Fraser Valley. She is a practicing member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK). Cara is dedicated to providing client-centered care and is passionate about using exercise as a tool to help regain full functional capacity.

Cara is continuously expanding her knowledge in this field and finding ways to incorporate these tools in her own day-to-day life. During her years of professional experience, Cara has had the pleasure of working with clients in various settings including the gym, pool, at-home, and long-term care facilities.

In her spare time, Cara enjoys cycling to the beat of the music at SpinHouse, and walking her dog rain or shine.

Daniely is a student massage therapist currently studying at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, where she is completing her third term. She is passionate about helping others and her curiosity about how the body moves inspired her to pursue massage therapy.

Daniely provides treatments that are both therapeutic and deeply relaxing, combining techniques such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, and joint mobilizations. Her goals are to help patients reduce tension, improve mobility, and feel more connected to their bodies. Outside of school, Daniely enjoys running, crafting, and exploring the outdoors, which helps her appreciate the balance between movement and recovery. She looks forward to supporting each patient’s unique wellness journey.

David graduated in 2018 from the RMT program at Langara College in Vancouver. His previous experience as a personal trainer and nutritional counsellor gave him the foundational knowledge about how the human body can adapt and overcome many things when used in conjunction with therapy.

His skill set can aid with things such as strokes, traumatic sports injuries, headaches, and soreness from daily activities to get you back to doing what you love to do. David knows that helping his patients understand their own body is an instrumental part of effective care. He is committed to encouraging each patient throughout their road to full recovery. David praises a lot of his success towards having a biopsychosocial treatment model that helps him understand his patient’s personal needs for their recovery.

Naturally, David enjoys educating himself and sees the benefit it has for those in his practice. With a focus on the nervous system and its behavior’s, David is eager to find the root cause of our aches and pains. On a personal note, he has enjoyed resistance training over the last 15 years and more recently started teaching at CDI College within the RMT program.

Dean grew up in Port Coquitlam where he fell in love with the outdoors, mountain biking in summer and snowboarding in winter amongst other activities. He had a number of injuries while he was young which sparked his interest in physiotherapy. This led him to complete his Bachelors of Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. He then went on to work as a Kinesiologist, where he helped clients who had been in work and motor vehicle accidents. After a couple of years of working in rehab, he knew that he could help clients more if he became a physiotherapist. So, he moved to Australia where he completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. From there, he moved north to the Gold Coast where he planned to stay one year but ended up staying for six. The lure of the sunshine and surf made it hard to leave, but eventually he moved back to the Lower Mainland with his wife to be closer to family and friends as they started a family.

While working in Australia, he progressed his skills by working in a one-on-one setting. He uses movement and postural analysis to help figure out the root cause of patients concerns. This helps him create an individualized exercise/rehab program to address these issues and help prevent future issues from occurring. He is great at communicating, educating and helping clients understand their issue and what they can do to help their cause. He also utilizes manual therapy including specific techniques for headaches and migraines that he learned in Australia where he helped start up the Gold Coast Headache Clinic. He is trained and qualified in IMS/Dry Needling, which he first learned overseas when he first graduated.

Dr. Danny Dhesa is a dedicated, evidence-based chiropractor committed to helping patients move better, recover faster, and perform at their best. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic (Doctor of Chiropractic, 2022) & the University of the Fraser Valley (Bachelors of Kinesiology, 2018), Dr. Danny currently practices at Revamp Wellness in Langley & Cloverdale, BC.

With a focus on sports & performance chiropractic, he treats a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions—including neck, back, and hip pain; headaches and migraines; TMJ/TMJD; and sports-related injuries affecting the shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles, and more. Dr. Danny actively gives back to his community, volunteering with organizations such as Special Olympics BC, Paralympics Canada, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley. He has also served as Team Chiropractor for Vancouver FC during their inaugural season in the Canadian Premier League (2023), worked on the medical team at the BC Summer Games (2024), and supported athletes at the BBall Nationals Basketball Tournament (2025) in Langley.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Danny stays active with weightlifting, hiking, golf, basketball, and tennis. He invests in his professional growth by attending multiple continuing education courses each year to ensure his care remains at the forefront of research and innovation. Dr McGuire grew up on a farm in rural Ontario, which fostered a love for nature and biology. This led her to study conservation biology at the University of Guelph in Ontario. After graduation she was drawn to natural health, and took a job working for her local health food store where she learned about naturopathic medicine, supplements, and herbal treatments. Although she was helping people improve their health in a small way, she wanted to learn more to help more. She moved to BC to attend the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, where she discovered her love for hands-on physical treatments, acupuncture, and botanical medicine.

Dr McGuire tackles health concerns using a whole-body approach. This involves asking you numerous questions about your current and past health history, in order to discover the root cause of your concern. She is deeply passionate about educating and empowering her patients so that they feel confident following their individualized treatment plan. It is Dr. McGuire’s goal that all patients are comfortable enough to ask their questions and fully trust that she has their best interest at heart.

Understanding Naturopathic care for infertility

Dr. Kamran Eghtesad grew up in Vancouver, BC. Growing up in Vancouver he enjoyed learning about health and wellness. This led him to Simon Fraser University where he studied Kinesiology. From there he began to explore his options in health. He worked with local high school football teams addressing acute injuries. Also, worked on the manufacturing side of creating and designing custom foot orthotics. Conducted ergonomic assessments at PepsiCo to reduce workplace injuries. All these different jobs had one thing in common, they allowed people to do what they love without injury or pain.

This led Dr. Eghtesad to attend Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose, California, where he graduated with Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. While in San Jose he spent his free time teaching anatomy and conducting cadaveric dissections to further understand the human body. He also worked with Stanford University Neuroscience and Pain Lab to publish research to explore artificial intelligence for neck MRI’s.

Inder Sanghera holds a Bachelor of Health Science from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton. Her practice spans workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, post-operative rehabilitation, athletic injuries, and neurological impairments like concussions and vestibular dysfunction.

Dedicated to exceptional care, Inder builds personalized treatment plans for each patient. She uses evidence-based practice, integrating manual therapy techniques and active rehabilitation strategies to improve performance and mobility and alleviate pain. Advocating for collaborative care, she works closely with patients to understand their goals and customize treatments accordingly. Patient education is fundamental to her approach, empowering individuals to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.

With first-hand experience in rehabilitation, Inder empathizes with her patients and guides them effectively through recovery. Fluent in English and Punjabi, she is committed to serving a diverse patient population with compassion and understanding.

Outside of work, Inder enjoys an active lifestyle, exploring the outdoors, travelling, and spending quality time with her family, particularly when cheering on the Vancouver Canucks.

Therapist is not currently taking new patients Guided by a keen interest in health care, Jacalyn pursued a career in Massage Therapy and graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC in 2014. During her schooling she took the occasion to volunteer with the woman’s Canadian Rugby Team. Jacalyn was able to gain experience at many sports outreaches. She also had the chance to aid in the comfort of people living with multiple sclerosis, paralysis, and chronic regional pain syndrome, cancer, and burn survivors.

In her practice over the last five years she has worked with the BC Lions, and many of the men’s professional rugby teams. Jacalyn has also been treating people with ongoing injuries from motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, and other chronic ailments. Jacalyn believes stretching, strengthening, and self-care go hand in hand with an effective massage treatment. She is impassioned with how the body works as a whole and makes sure to incorporate all appropriate aspects to ensure the patient’s goals are met.

Justin Herdman-Reed is a professional athlete in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and certified personal trainer, now focusing on a career in kinesiology and injury rehabilitation. With a background in biomedical physiology and over a decade of experience in high-performance athletics, he brings a unique skill set and passion for helping others achieve optimal health and performance.

Justin graduated from Simon Fraser University (SFU) in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Physiology, where he was also a standout football player. He earned First Team All-Conference honors and was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the 2017 CFL Draft.

Over a seven-year CFL career, Justin won a Grey Cup and was named Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2018. His education in physiology and practical experience as a professional athlete provides a strong foundation for his work as a kinesiologist. Inspired by his experiences in sports and fueled by a desire to help others, Justin became a certified personal trainer and later expanded his expertise into group fitness coaching. His experience coaching a wide range of clients, from athletes to general fitness enthusiasts, has honed his ability to tailor exercise programs to individual needs and ensure safety during physical activity. One of the defining aspects of Justin Herdman-Reed’s journey is his personal experience with injury and rehabilitation. After undergoing surgery for a labrum tear in 2017, he experienced firsthand the challenges of rehabilitation. His own successful rehabilitation process, which included a return to high-level performance, drives his passion for injury prevention and recovery. This experience fuels his desire to help others navigate their own recovery journeys and achieve long-term physical health.

Justin aims to integrate his expertise in performance coaching, rehabilitation, and human physiology to help clients recover from injuries and achieve their fitness goals. His unique combination of athletic experience and academic knowledge makes him a trusted resource for those looking to improve their physical health and overcome challenges, both on and off the field.

Karolina is a graduate from the Registered Massage Therapy Program at CDI College in October 2022. She has immigrated to Canada from Poland at age 14 and has flourished in her education. She is excited to work together towards getting you to be able to do what you love to do; whether that would be hiking, playing sports, partaking in winter or summer activities or simply being able to enjoy your everyday life pain-free. She focuses on mind and body integration and your overall well-being to help alleviate stress, fatigue and chronic pain. Karolina believes that massage therapy can aid in managing present and past injuries, reduce dysfunction and improve mobility. Some modalities that she utilizes in her treatments are Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, Muscle Energy Techniques, Active Release Techniques and Passive Stretching. She trusts that tying it all together through diaphragmatic breathing, patient relaxation and education can assist in reaching the goals that have been set: achieving the optimal level of function physically and emotionally. Karolina also enjoys working with pre/post natal patients. When not in clinic or furthering her knowledge in massage therapy, you can find Karolina enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends, hiking, sitting by a campfire, walking her two huskies, relaxing at the beach or snowboarding in the mountains. Kim graduated from the Langara RMT program in December 2023 where she learned about the human body in great detail and had the chance to work in different settings such as sporting events, long term care homes, and clinical care.

She gained an interest in this profession while competing in sports herself and found massage therapy to be very beneficial for sports recovery. She hopes to work with a wide variety of conditions and use a mix of massage techniques including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.

Outside of the clinic you’ll find Kim at the gym, planning her next trip, and spending time with friends. Kim is looking forward to meeting you and helping you to achieve your treatment goals.

Kurt is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT). He spent the last 9 years as a personal trainer and CrossFit Coach. His profound interest in the human body and movement began at a young age when he discovered how to change his body with weight training for football, hockey and lacrosse.

During that time, he worked with a wide range of clientele ranging from elite national level athletes of multiple sports, to weight loss, to those with the goal of aspiring to get fit.

Kurt’s goal is eager to share his passion for wellness with his patients by not only treating, but by educating them on how their body works, how it should move, how to prevent further injuries and ultimately, how to improve performance.

When Kurt is not at the clinic, you can find him training at the local CrossFit gym, playing football or snowboarding one of the local mountains.

Kyne is a dedicated bodyworker and RMT student who brings a calm, intuitive approach to each session. His focus is on helping clients reduce tension, improve mobility, and reconnect with their bodies through relaxation and deep-tissue techniques.

Drawing from a strong background in customer service and hands-on work, Kyne prioritizes clear communication, comfort, and individualized care. Whether it’s easing day-to-day stress or supporting clients in maintaining healthy movement patterns, he meets each person where they’re at and adjusts treatments to their unique needs.

He is currently completing his Registered Massage Therapy Diploma and is passionate about building a practice rooted in compassion, consistency, and quality care.

Leah graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2023. She grew up in Langley and has a background in competitive sports including collegiate softball and high school basketball. Her experience as an athlete led her to pursue a career in health care.

As a therapist Leah’s focus is alleviating pain and helping patients return to their optimal quality of life. Her style includes general swedish massage, trigger point, myofascial work and deep tissue massage. Leah provides her clients with knowledge to take an active role in healing and overall well-being. Outside of work she enjoys playing sports, being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Melanie attended the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and graduated from a 3000 hour program in 2014. Her interest in the body and health began while studying Anatomy & Physiology at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2010. At UFV, she graduated with a General Studies diploma with a majority of her coursework being in Kinesiology and Psychology. With 10 years of experience, she has worked with a wide range of conditions, but has focused her continuing education in Soft Tissue Release, Pregnancy Massage, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Functional Range Release. She was certified as a yoga teacher with the yoga alliance in 2017, and enjoys offering a holistic approach by incorporating therapeutic yoga, stretches and breathing exercises into her treatment plan. In 2018, Melanie became apart of the faculty at WCCMT and taught massage to students providing therapy at a men’s drug and addiction center. Melanie is passionate about helping athletes reach their peak performance, whether in preparation, maintenance, or recovery of their sport. In her practice, she has experience with professional athletes and has worked for sports events such as Iron Man Canada, HSBC Rugby Sevens, and was a core member with the BC Lions massage therapy team for 3 seasons. In her leisure time Melanie keeps an active lifestyle including rock climbing, hiking, yoga and in 2018 ran her first full distance marathon and since then has gone on to complete three half marathons.

She believes her greatest strength as a practitioner is listening to her patients and coming up with an individual plan that will best suit their needs. In her clinical experience, Melanie has worked with several injuries including but not limited to whiplash, postural dysfunction, migraines, muscle strains and carpal tunnel. Over the years she has had a variety of clientele including patients suffering with acute and chronic pain due to motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis. Mike’s approach to physiotherapy is to not only decrease your pain, but to identify the real reason behind your injury. Properly understanding why the injury occurred in the first place will lower its chances of happening again. To accomplish this, Mike treats with manual therapy, education, exercise and improving movement patterns. Mike has certification in IMS/Dry needling and acupuncture.

Mike decided to become a physiotherapist after tearing his ACL while playing soccer at the age of 21. Working closely with his physiotherapist, he was sold on Physio as a career path. To pursue his goal, he made the big decision to move to Sydney, Australia and completed a Master of Physiotherapy degree. He then stayed in Australia to gain valuable clinical experience but is now back home, providing his Australian perspective to clients.

Raffy is a distinguished graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy. His foundational education emphasized the importance of fostering a robust and harmonious connection with each patient, a principle he holds as the cornerstone of effective therapeutic relationships.

In addition to his expertise in massage therapy, Raffy excels in his role as a carpenter and safety officer within the trades industry. His dedication to constructing and maintaining secure work environments for his colleagues reflects his unwavering commitment to safety. Beyond his professional endeavors, Raffy’s passions encompass gourmet cooking, avid cycling, nurturing his familial bonds, and creating memorable moments with his children.

Reilly graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April of 2022. Growing up in a sports household with an extensive background in the health and fitness industry, Reilly has a special interest in sports rehab and general post-injury work. Reilly hopes to combine his passion, new skills and knowledge as an RMT with his previous experience as a personal trainer to leave a positive impact into his practice as an RMT.

Reilly’s goal in every treatment is to improve quality of life in and out of the treatment room by educating his patients and providing 5-star service.

Kiarrah graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2024. She began her massage journey at a young age due to a motor vehicle accident; an accident which led to injuries that only massage therapy could provide relief from. She played competitive soccer through her youth and into her university career, until she concluded that being an RMT was her ultimate career goal and came home to the lower mainland.

In her free time, Kiarrah enjoys being active in any way possible, through the gym, hiking, running half marathons and other various activities.

Kiarrah enjoys working with athletes of all ages, and is certified in level one hot and cold stone therapy. Having dealt with TMJD herself Kiarrah also believes TMJ, face and neck treatments are very beneficial for those suffering with TMJD.

Nicole graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (New West) in April 2022 and obtained her RMT License November 30, 2022. Upon completing her Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching with a specialization in Kinesiology from Douglas College, she knew massage therapy would be the perfect mix of both human anatomy and movement. Nicole grew up in the sport community playing soccer, basketball, and ultimately softball. Nicole played on the Douglas College varsity softball team during her undergrad. Since retiring as a player, Nicole has continued her involvement in the sport as a youth coach.

Nicole loves being able to positively affect any individual through hands on treatment and therapy. She can provide patients with techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point release, and can release muscles through muscle activation techniques to name a few. She can treat everything from postural concerns to overuse and work/sport related injuries.

Through her time at West Coast, Nicole has gained experience with sport massage, pre and postnatal massage, as well as working with individuals who have specific conditions such as Fibromyalgia.

Nicole takes pride in being able to effectively communicate with her patients in order to provide the patient with what they need to help the issue therapeutically, while also still providing an element of relaxation. Rebecca graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April of 2023. Before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, Rebecca achieved her Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2019 and worked as a Kinesiologist. Rebecca grew up playing many different sports and learned about massage and physical therapy when she sustained her own injury while playing volleyball. She learned that there are many components to any injury and it is best to assess the body as a whole to provide the best treatment.

Rebecca has had the privilege of working with a variety of people such as athletes, office workers, pre and post-natal women, people with neurological conditions, geriatric and ICBC clients. She utilizes a variety of techniques such as general Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, PNF, pin and stretch, fascial techniques and joint mobilizations into her treatments. She strives to incorporate her knowledge of health and wellness into her RMT practice while providing patient-centered care in order to help her clients reach their goals and improve their quality of life.

Sarah is a Registered Kinesiologist with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). Her passion for learning about the human body originated from her years as a gymnast and gymnastics coach. During her time in gymnastics, she was also an athlete and coach in gymnaestrada, a non-competitive group gymnastics sport that involves creative choreographed routines blending gymnastics, dance, and acrobatics. Sarah even had the privilege of performing as an athlete at provincials, nationals and at World Gymnaestrada in Austria in 2019.

Whether recovering from an injury, working to improve athletic performance, or simply seeking to move more efficiently, her goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based strategies designed to promote long-term health and injury prevention. Sarah’s approach empowers clients with the knowledge and tools they need to restore and improve balance, strength, mobility, and maintain optimal physical well-being.

Shelby graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She was first introduced to the benefits of massage therapy when she was a teen and had been experiencing tension headaches. Since then, she has made massage a part of her regular wellness routine, encouraging her friends and family to do the same.

When Shelby’s sister was pregnant with her first child, she had the opportunity to see the benefits of massage therapy and how it relates to women’s health. She realized that a career as an RMT would be one that she could bring her passion into, and one that could help her friends, family, and strangers in all stages of life. She is looking forward to gaining more knowledge and experience in women’s health, pre and postnatal, and infant care.

Taylor is a recent graduate of the RMT program from Vancouver Career College in Burnaby. Her passion for helping people stems from years of working in laboring jobs and playing competitive sports.

Taylor has always been passionate about helping others which made stepping into the healthcare field a natural transition for her. She pursued massage therapy to assist others in achieving their personal health and wellness goals. Being able to partake in her clients progressions inspire her to help guide others on their journey to wellness.

Taylor is happily welcoming new faces, and is always greeting you with a warm smile.

Jakes passion for health care stemmed from his career in hockey and his life long interest in sports. After playing years of competitive and professional hockey Jake was able to see the importance and value of body maintenance and enhancement.

After seeing and dealing with many injuries over the years he was able to experience many different types of treatment. What fascinated Jake the most was how much therapy has evolved over the years. His vision for Revamp Wellness is to always be at the fore front of the leading therapies for patients.
