On your first visit, once you’ve had your skin assessed, a topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. After 30 minutes, the treatment area will be numb and treatment will begin. Treatment length will depend on the size of the treatment area and how many treatment areas there are. Most people don’t find microneedling uncomfortable. There are few sensitive spots where your practitioner will adjust the depth of the needle to adapt to the sensitivity and she will check in on you throughout the appointment to assure you are comfortable.
