Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients, including children and pediatric patients, addressing emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Assist in case management by coordinating patient services and ensuring continuity of care.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient progress, treatment outcomes, and research studies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting cases or communicating with medical staff.
- Support patients with special educational needs or developmental challenges by adapting counseling approaches accordingly.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatrics, patient care, and mental health therapies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience working with children or pediatric populations is highly desirable.
- Prior hospital or clinical experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of research methodologies related to mental health and patient care.
- Familiarity with case management processes and data collection techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to healthcare settings.
- Experience working with patients requiring special education or developmental support is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

70% Split
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $100.00-$120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
